National University of Kaohsiung (NUK)

National University of Kaohsiung (NUK) was founded in 2000 to promote the balanced development of higher education between southern and northern Taiwan. Therefore, NUK has a strategic location and is very close to the Science, Industrial, and Software Parks and public transportation, such as Taiwan High Speed Rail, Taiwan Railway, Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) stations, and Kaohsiung International Airport. Surrounded by many important IT industry clusters, NUK has great geographical advantages in terms of research and academia industry development.

NUK aims to promote the construction of a university town, and build a green and ecological campus that offers students cozy and safe on-campus housing with reasonable accommodation fees, and promise a leisure and healthy college life. Following the United Nations’ sustainable development goals (SDGs), we are committed to pursuing excellence in teaching, researching, and social responsibility to the local and global communities.
